Greenpeace Australia Pacific believe that GE organisms should not be released into the environment and opposes all patents on plants, animals and humans. The GE campagin has 3 primary components - opposing the commercial release of GE canola in Australia (first food crop approved for commercial release); the True Food Network and True Food Guide; and eliminating the use of GE soy in food for livestock (focus on chickens).

Human Genetics Alert (HGA) is an independent public interest watchdog group, based in London. Since 1999, HGA has been committed to informing people about human genetics issues, and to putting forward clear policies that serve the public interest.
